Talking Nelson Brothers Jumbo - thanks guys

just wanted to say thanks to the guys who sent me pictures of a nelson brothers jumbo. i have attached a picture of my jumbo.

i just got all the parts for my canada producers engine (weber, lloyd or barrie) home today, so i now have lot's more work to do .

the only part i didn't get was the flywheels (if i have to i will get the right ones cast) what i was wondering is does anyone have a pair for a 4h.p. engine, or any other parts. if so contact me at

thanks for all the help

Talking Re: thanks guys

i finally got my jumbo running , i have had the engine for about 2 years and had to make allot of parts for it but it has been a great project, i still have allot of work to do to get it ready for the first show.

now the neatest thing about this engine is, while working on it my girlfriends 12 year old son (shane) got interested in gas engines . he helped me make the filler for the gas tank and he helped me solder the tank together (there was no leaks). he sometimes just stands there and talks to me as i work, but the whole time he is talking he is watching and learning.
i think he now wants his own engine!!!!

i have had allot of fun with engines over the years (25 years this summer) with my dad. this engine has provided allot of fun for both shane and i and im proud to have him working with me and i think it is very cool that he is interested in this old "junk" as he first called it!!!
i don't want to sound like im boasting but dam i feel good about this hobby and all that it has done for me!!
i was just wondering how many others have felt this way about this hobby?

just my thoughts on a great day in freezing cold ontario

thanks to all,
