One must ALWAYS cover one's butt when making statements such as "the only one~~~~~" 'cause if you DON"T you're gonna get your butt burned!!!

Hi Mac
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to visit the UC Davis collection, so it will have to wait until next time. This trip was primarily a 'scenery' one, but I still managed to fit in the Heidrick/Hays Museum, the show + museum at Tulare and the Dome Valley Museum in AZ! I would be very glad of any recommendations of collections or shows in CA for future though - I heard there is a museum in Vista, plus a few Best steam tractors out there somewhere. Maybe you could help me out on this? While I was at the Tulare museum I met a nice guy called Lorry Dunning who I writing books on Yuba and Samson tractors. He has tracked down dozens of them worldwide, so they should make interesting reading when they are published. All the best David |

I have seen the COD at Rollag!
I know I have video of the whole parade but converting and editing video takes SOOO much time--maybe this winter I'll make a few cuts. Craig |

I saw the Rollag COD in 1969 at Larson Machine & Welding awaiting restoration on my trip to buy 30-60 E no.766 with Elmer's help. In 1970 I saw it, restored, at the Rollag show. Ed Schott |
