This looks very much like a Heider A or B model rather than a D - does anyone have any more photos ar details about the tractor? There is an interesting article about the restoration of an (apparently) unique Model A here:

Does anybody know of a serial number/model listing for Heiders?
Which model had the enclosed transmission and when did that start?

Does anyone have pictures, catalogue views, etc, showing the Heider power plow-lift system? I recall seeing one years ago on a tractor at Rollag but don't have any pictures of it.
How did it operate?
Thanks for any help,
RM.

I was there once. Jim sure has nice collections. He gave me tour four hours nice sunny warm day with no snow on ground. The reason why I go there. He wrote me a letter about his Greyhound tractor. I was there on December 31st of 1999??. On the way home was almost out of gas just in time without my bank card which I left it at home! The next day I see the news with massive lake effect snow.. The cars on the same interstate where I went pass were stranded in huge snow drifts. I am glad I missed the storm!!
I am sure I would love to see his most rarest oddball collections in entire 9 buildings full(I think) again.

Photo Re: EARLY Heider D

Hello David,

It is defenitely not a model C or D. Here are some more pictures. The tractor is completely different to a C or D.

Jeff,

I think John C Heider in Monticello IL might help you.

Marc.
