Default Rumely Line Drive

This Rumely Line Drive was NOT one of Rumely's better ideas. I am the driver in the lower photo and can attest to the fact that the tractor was mis-named. It should have been named the "Bear" tractor as that is what it is to drive! Two leather reins operate much like a window shade.....well....exactly like a window shade, each operating a separate clutch for the drive wheels. This is how the tractor is steered.

Craig,
Plain 1/2 Amish with cap and no beard. Whoaaa!! Hold the strap to stop the tractor !

PS
"Whoa" is another word speaking for horse to STOP. Seen a WHOA sign on Amish road in PA.

One thing I'll give Rumely. You don't got to worry about no "Meadow Muffins" with this unit

Craig,

I have had the great pleasure of operating that fine unit a few times, I have also watched the owner back it up a set of ramps on a truck!
