Default Charging Magnets on Maytag engine

I have a magnet charger and haven't used it yet. I want to use it for charging the magnets on Maytag engine flywheels. It came from a neighbor who passed away and it is a big old heavy American Bocsh charger. I had him charge some Maytag flywheels with it so I know it can be done, but never actually saw him do it. My question is how do i set the Maytag flywheel up on the charger to do this? Any pointers on charging EK mags and Websters and Wizzards would be useful also.

Thank You and Happy New Year!

I guess I'll try again, for some reason I was unable to post a reply this morning.Anyway Tom I think you need an adaptor to charge flywheel magnets.I know the Briggs service manual tells how to make them for their differant types of flywheels.I would guess that once you have the adaptors you would charge them the same way as a regular magnet.
