Well I didn't buy an engine at the end of the year, but I did buy a pump jack for the wife!!! She sure is proud of it.

The last engine that I ran today was my Fairbanks 208.

It is a beautiful day in Weatherford, TX.

Here's a picture of the other side. I still have a batch of strawberry to make New Years Day before I take it apart and put it away. Once the flat belt is removed the freezer unit easily un-plugs from the engine skid. The clutch lever has a pin on it that goes into a hole to lock it in the disengaged position. The 12" pulley is mounted on a stub shaft and the freezer shaft is coupled to it so the freezer can be easily switched while the engine is running. The freezer is turning at 60 RPM. I made two batches of Vanilla today and they both finished in 20 minutes.
