Default IHC clutch pulley

I am rebuilding two clutch pulleys for IHC M engines. I need to know what type of wood to use for the shoes. I also need a a hand wheel and accuating sleeve. If anyone knows of a source for these parts please respond. Thanks.

When I relined my clutch pulley on my 8 HP Titan I used Hard Maple for the blocks. I think that wears about as good as anything. Works Good for clutches on Steam Engines also. As far as Hand wheels ect. I don't know of a source but some guys have modified a very large valve wheel for a substitute. If you can borrow a pattern you might have some parts cast and machine them....

YUP!! Ken's right on the money with Hard Maple. Same material Case used for the reverse gear sliding block--except THEY were boiled in oil and they last FOREVER. We used Hard Maple for the clutch shoes for the IHC 15's too.
