I have purchased a couple of twin cyl coils from a gentleman somewhere in New England I think. Now...

Default maytag twin cyl coils

I have purchased a couple of twin cyl coils from a gentleman somewhere in New England I think. Now I need a couple more and have lost my information on him. I think he also repairs magnetos. Can anyone help me? Thanks Joe B

Joe is it difficult to change the twin's coil?? Mine are decent but getting weaker each year there ran. Can you tell me how to go about it if possible?

Papa thanks for the info on the coils I think that guy has what I need. As far as changing those coils I've never had any trouble with them. Be more than happy to help you any way I can but as slow as I type we might be here a while. Is there a way I could call you on the phone and explain how I changed mine. Thanks Again Joe B

papa, if its a wico it can be a pain in the rear, because they have pins that they have to go on, if i was you, i dont think a mag can get weak i know they can get BAD. but it is either a ground problem or the magnets are weak. if they are eisman i know that they are messed up because they always have a grounding problem inside the mag. so my 2Cents!
