Default Ford Ferguson with ditch witch

There is an auction this weekend with an old Ford Ferguson tractor ( 1950's) and its has a large 10' long ditch witch attached to it. It also has a wide front end on it with wheel weights and additonal weights hanging on the extended axle. The front wheels are as wide as the rear with the rims spun all the way out. Was this a factory made piece? I'll try and take a picture of it this weekend.

I'm a little confused as to what you are wanting to know is a factory piece. Are you trying to figure out if the Ditch Witch is a factory implement (no), or if the wheels are done right (yes). The front axles on the Ford N-series tractors were adjustable in and out to match the row width settings of the rear wheels. Rear wheels were adjustable from 48 to 72" in 2" increments. Fronts only had about 6 adjustments but still worked. The tractors could be set up for 1 or 2 row operation. Most people just use a single row setup.
