Torque specs for Briggs 23D? (Head and connecting rod)


Does anyone know the torque specs for the cylinder head and the connecting rod bolts on a Briggs...

Default Torque specs for Briggs 23D? (Head and connecting rod)

Does anyone know the torque specs for the cylinder head and the connecting rod bolts on a Briggs 23D?

190 inch pounds for both. As taken from B&S manual.

Sounds like you could use the "Service Manual for Out of Production Engines 1919 to 1981" that Briggs put out a couple of years ago. You can order one for app $21 from the folks at www.sandylakeimp.com Bill Klein
