Thumbs down Fairbanks Type H Igniter Trip Retrun Spring

I am working on a 6 hp Fairbanks type H. I am missing the flat springs having to do with the igniter trip. I am looking for a supplier of these springs or an idea on where to find material to make my own. I thought I had found some, but it doesn't look like it will work. The igniter trip return spring is represented by the blue line and the spring that holds the advance is represented by the red line. Also, I have included a picture of the project so far.

I'm sure some of these guys can tell you the corrct spring stock to use but I have made several out of old hacksaw blades. They can be annealed so you can form the spring but have enough carbon content that they can be retempered.I have seen several posts on how to do this in the archives. I have found that the steel strapping material found on many shipping crates works well as a spring in the type application as you are needing for your ignitor trip. Good luck in a good hobby, Joe Morris

Thanks for the ideas. I know there must be something I wasn't thinking of.
