Default Under Its Own Power (Finally)

I posted a thread a while ago about my belt tensioner setup on my homemade tractor. I decided to use a second support arm on the tensioner as many of you had suggested. Anyway, here it is yesterday on its own power. That little New-Way pulled the McCormick 10-20 Chassis with no problem. Thanks to Jim Tremble for the gearing ratios. While going up hill, it whooped it pretty good though. Had a nice hard hitting sound kinda like a Rumely. Cant wait to paint it & finish it up for show season. I have restored a few tractors, but this monkey is the best fun yet. Sorry if the photo is a little fuzzy, I took the frame off of a video. I am taking suggestions for the chassis and wheel colors.

Good job, Smoke

SO, it did alright on the hills. How does it do on the flat ?? Can you get 5 MPH ? That would be a great speed for the parades.

As to paint, the older 10--20s were a Gray color and the newer ones were a IHC Red. The ones I have seen were all of the same color. No Blacks or other colors. Just solid color. Red with Black trim would look nice.

BTW, did you ever get your email corrected ??

Jim
