Default Re: Cushman Model BB Type V. HP 5

Greetings! This is the Cushman Model BB Type V. They V stands for vertical. They made essentially the same engine as a horizontal and called it the Model BB Type H using many of the same components (cylinder/block, rod/piston, head, flywheels, crank, etc.) and rated it at 3 H.P. It was made in the 1920s, yours probably has a serial number in the 500s. I have the original manual, factory photos and other literature on these engines, if you want to contact me at browncushman@aol.com. I can answer your questions. Jim
