Findlay, Ohio is a really nice show that covers all that you mention although I believe it may be in early August.

Greenville Farm Power of the Past at the Darke County Fairgrounds in Greenville, Oh. It's July 7-10. Always a good selection of engines to view there.

The Southeast Old Threshers Reunion is a nice one to attend in NC. It will be the weekend nearest the 4th of July and always includes July 4th. It has old engines, tractors, vehicles, crafts, etc.

For the Plain City, OH show I am working on the web site, several pages in the works, but not posted as of yet. Bookmark the page and check back. The show flyer is on the home page and there are several show pics to look at.

Don't know your schedule but I've enjoyed the Ashtabula, OH show the last 5 or 6 years. It's July 1, 2, and 3 this year.

The Southeast Old Threshers in Denton, N.C., is huge. Lot's of engines, tractors, exhibits, live nightly entertainment, steam shovel demos, horse pulls, mock mini-village. Very nice. If you also like construction equipment- Brownsville, Pa., in August. The largest(?) show of it's kind in U.S. Huge piles of dirt being moved by huge earthmoving machines. A little bit smaller show I personally like is Chambersburg, Pa. The engines are set up in the woods along with some oil field engines, sawmill, small barn with a couple animals, blacksmith shop.
btw- my vote for the best bean soup around is Berryville, Va.
Hope to see ya somewhere, Luke.

My three favorite shows are the Ashtabula Antique Engine Club show in Williamsfield(I think) Ohio on 4th of July weekend, Historical Engine Society on July 30&31 in Century Village in Burton, Ohio(I am a member); and the National Pike(Brownsville) show in August in Brownsville, PA. The Brownsville show hosts the Ohio Valley Historical Construction Equipment Assoc. who display about 20 old power shovels including an Erie B steam shovel.

I forgot the LaGrange Show! It takes up the entire Lorain County Fairgrounds. Another excellent show is the one in Portersville, PA. They have an entire steam building with about ten stationary steam engines in operation.
