Default Rod

wich way does the boss mark on the rod and cap of the Y model briggs point to, the mag side or pto side?
and what do you guys do with a rod that has alittle pin play in it, about 3 thousands.....i changed rod and crank and still the same thing, only a little improvement, thats all, the machine shops around here say anything below an inch on crank pins and they cannot do the crank jobs of building them up again becouse there to small, well, the crank pin on the Y is below an inch, thus i cannot have the crank job done, what do i do, just live with what i got?

Thanks for the info

Default Re: Rod

Skylar, look for the "X" on the pin boss, the "X" goes toward the mag side.
