I'm going to go out on a limb for a bit and "assume" you mean the toy steam engine. Catfish Hollow Toys is one of our sponsors. Also, I ran into a fellow at the Ely, Vermont show that had quite a collection and parts. Maybe someone else will add to this. I need to find a source for staks for mine.

EDIT: Dave Robie, is the person that I saw in Vermont.

I traded off a very sweet Jensen Model 10 unit, but first, I needed to fix a leaky boiler sight-glass assembly. I spent some time on Jensen's web-site and was impressed- no WalMart here. When I phoned to order parts, I got the head man, Tom, jr. Nice guy, got my parts a few days later from clear across the USA. Anything here??

If you have a rebuildeable heating-unit carcass, I suppose you could take a surviving sample of the heating wire, find out what would replace it, and re-wind with the correct configuration for suitable wattage and mechanical properties. Perhaps a sponsor or Messers Jensen, or a similar vender could advise with specifics. HTH

A good friend of mine ordered an empire heater from Dave Robie. Check was mailed and received. 6 months later Dave was still telling him he would get around to making it and that his check was still in it's envelope on his workshop bench.
My friend never got his heater. Dave never cashed his check. He gave up after that. Dave may be ok IF he already has your part in stock but I would not consider him a reliable source if your part is not easy for him to come by. I would consider him quite honest as he is not known to spend what is not his.
