Default Webster mag!

My hercules engine with a webster mag has two positions on the timing lever on the mag. One is the start position and the other is the run position. So I was looking over a friends Alamo engine a noticed his webster has a three position lever.....whats this third position for??? He didn't know either! Warren

Maybe to advance the spark so far that it allows you to start it on the "back bounce"..just a thought Mark Congden
