Default Domestic Mud Pump Diapham

I found a domestic mud pump and the rubber diapham is almost gone and I could use another. Does anyone know how or where to find one or to make one from something? Thanks. MCANADY

Look for "rubberized fabric" at McMaster-Carr...

http://www.mcmaster.com

You should be able to get it there.

Take care - Elden

Since you are in the "original" Washington, there was a guy with a Domestic pump at the SE Old Thresher's reunion at Dento the last 2 years. He sold me 2 diaphragms at a very reasonable price. Be aware there are different sizes, but if you can wait until July 4th & travel inland, that may be an option.

Hello, the diaphragms for all the various mud pumps are pretty much standard and are a molded rubber material with a fabric inside the diaphragm. The diaphagm size is based on the pump pipe size. 2",3",4",5". I stock the 2,3,and 4. If I can be of any help feel free to ask. Jack

I was going to provide you with info to contact Jack Welton but I see he was paying attention himself! Jack knows what he's talkin' about & has always been very helpful even when there was little or no money changing hands. Keep 'em pumpin' Whiskers! Bill Klein
