Question sumter plugoscillator problems

does anyone have any trouble shooting info for a sumter plugoscillator? it is on a 3 hp fairbanks morse. thanks jim.

problem solved missing parts in mag. contact pieces missing, a spring from an ink pen and a small piece of brass rod and i have spark.now maybe i can get this 3hp z to run!
