Default Anyone intrested in my 2500hr DJC top end?

Going to be pulling the heads off my DJC-12 due to a small headgasket leak in the next few weeks. Was wondering if anyone was intrested in seeing wall conditions after 2500 hours of prime power running on synthetic oils. Heads are coming off either way and valves are going to be checked but if enough intrest presents itself I will take high-res pictures of the walls during the service. Im curious myself to see how well Mobile-1 has kept the wear down, engine hardly uses any oil and I think it leaks it more than anything through the pushrod tube seals...

A show of hands?

Wow I could set out a donation cup for head gaskets!

I will be taking detailed pictures as photography is one of my hobbies. Camera is a Olympus D620L with additional telephoto and macro lenses with lighting being Tota lights followed up with sync'd Strobonars. Several of my pictures have made it to Trains magazine in the past highlighting the Milwaukee 261 steam train. If anyone IS intrested in trains specifically the IC&E the recent video put out by C-Vision production was taken by both my son and me behind the lenses.

Needless to say the cylinder wall details will be very sharp and well lit to show everything, also going to do the heads and valves and maybe I might break open the crankcase bottom to look at the bearings. Like I said I prime power the set so the weak link will show up.
