Default My Engines

HI all, thought i'd share these pics with ya'll, one is my after picture of my 1933 model Y Briggs & Stratton, i have a before picture too but i will have to add that to a second post. the other picture are of my newest engine hunt finds of this weekend, the one picture with a orange mower and a rusty lookin critter is 1, a JACOBSEN and 2, a CLINTON, both are 2 cycles, 1960's? i suppose, and the last picture is of i KNOW a good find and it is a 1940's REEL MOWER, it's a ROCKET, red and white mower with a october of 1941 Briggs & Stratton model WI. with a bisket muffler! this mower has been very well tooken care of and is a very well oiled machine and im sure with a little elbow grease this thing would fire right up but i want to restore it anyhow, it is in very good shap, nothing is broke....all of these mowers will be restored but as for the rusty clinton, the engine only will be restored becouse the deck is steel and rusted out, the JACOBSEN has a aluminum deck. and in my earlier post, Hey guy's,..could i get a little help here?...it tells all about the mowers.
if anyone has a little info for me as to what rarity, value, and so on and what these are and features of these, feel free to respond and let me know and that would be very much apreciated and i thank you!
i am also looking for were i can get parts for the jacobsen.....
well, tired of talking.......have a look at the pics!

You have a very nice collection started there Skylar!! I had a Briggs like your 1943 model on a homemade garden tractor we had as a kid growing up. Wow, thanks for stirring up some good memories!!

Skylar~

My frist engine about 14 years ago was a Briggs Y (5/1936) (Which I still have). You did a really nice job on yours. Maybe some day if I ever get all my other projects done I can get mine cleaned up and painted
