Default Looking for Philip Thornburgh of Michigan

I have some used IHC M parts ordered from Philip Thornburgh of Michigan, of which I sent him a $60 money order for on February 14th, and have yet to receive the part, or replies to my emails. Perhaps he is away, or I have the wrong email address? Following is the address and email given at the time I sent him the money order......

Philip Thornburgh 09060 CR 681
Grand Junction Michigan 49056.
philsparts@hotmail.com

Anyone have a different email address or know if he's alive and well?
Thanks, Tom

Thumbs down Re: Looking for Philip Thornburgh of Michigan

I have done buisiness with him before and it took about 3 months before I got my part and it was not worth what I payed for it, since his description was "it is in very good condition" and when I got it, it was in very bad condition. I could have fixed what I originally had and it would have looked better than what he sent me.

Thanks for your reply. I'll keep my fingers crossed. At least I have his address, and only live two states away.

If the money order hasn't been cashed I would see about having payment stopped. If you have the stub you may be able to check the status of the Money Order online.
I recently won an item on EBay where the seller's address on the "Item Won" email was incorrect. I was able to stop payment on the Cashier's Check with just a signature at the bank (NO fee involved). The check was eventually returned in my envelope stamped "Address Unknown". On the bright side, the confusion was straightened out and I did get the item.

Mr. Thornburgh is evidently alive and well, and he finally replied to my email after I sent him a link to the Michigan Attorney General. He said I should receive my part soon. I requested a UPS tracking number. Hopefully he complies, and I get back to work on my engine soon! Thanks.

i have delt with phil for many years.i mostly buy hercules parts from him at swap meets like portland.he was always very fair and honest with me. sure some of his parts were a little bit rusty but he was always fair in his prices.i think the problem comes into play when you can not see the parts and you buy site unseen.don't do it.if you can't look at the part you want you will be unhappy.i have been rip off more on ebay than anythink else.my 2 cents worth
