Anyone have any information on an International Harvester LBA47432 small engine? It is rated at 1.5 - 2.5 hp and 300 - 500 rpm.

Prefix LBA is for standard 1˝ - 2˝ hp hopper cooled.
Are you sure with the number?
LB 1˝ - 2˝ hp engines start with serial # 47998.

Thanks, John.
I'll get back to you tomorrow. I'm looking this up for my brother-in-law so I'll have to contact him tonight to verify the numbers.

John: The serial number is 97932, not 47432. I am sending you some pictures. I haven't used this forum before so I am not confident that the pictures are uploades correctly. If you don't get them, let me know.

Bruce, I see the pics and you have to do some work on it. Best way is to get a LB manual from one of Harry's sponsors, Hit-'n-Miss or Starbolt so you can learn a little about the engine.
Next time you ad pics make them a little larger, better to see for everyone.
Take care and enjoy the old iron hobby.

Thanks for the response. This looks like a fun project for Mike.
John:
Yes, I know the pictures were small but, unfortunately, I'm working from a modem (remember those? ) and it would have taken about an hour to download all of them in a larger size.
If you want, I'll keep you posted on the progress and send some pictures from work (faster).
Bruce
