Hello. I have a Briggs & Stratton Model B manufactured for Sear & Roebuck. It has the following information on the serial tag:
500.60675 What does all this mean. Does it tell me the serial number of the engine. Thanks for all help in figuring this out for me. |

Think that's a Sears catalogue number.

That number crosses over to a Briggs model B type number, that does not give the serial number or the year it was made. There should be another number stamped on the tag that is the serial number. With the serial number, you can look on this serial number list Briggs Model B Serial Number List
Your engine would be an eariler one, being it only has a 5 digit type number.
