Talking Advice on Portland show

Hello everyone. I would like to ask some advice. I will be going to Portland for the first time in May. I will get there Wed. evening and stay a couple days. Is there camping available there? If I decide to bring a display, will there be space available to show? Can I camp with my engines? Any other advice?
Thank you! Luke

There is plenty of camping there and you can camp with your equipment.
This is more of a swap meet than a show, but some do both.
I would suggest having some muddy weather gear along. Bill Miller

I have camped in a vendor space at May Portland 3 or 4 years. There are very few displays--most everything there is for sale. Restrooms including showers and food service on the grounds are good. The area is large so I take my bike to save wear and tear on my feet. Fires on the ground are not allowed so you need a burner to contain your fire. (It gets cold at times). Most sites are without electricity. Generally there is one pretty good thunderstorm, so be prepared to tie down your tent or shelter and bring your boots. It's a great time!
