Any one know if and where there might be casting dates on my jaeger model F?

non that I know of, believe that style was before casting dates? maybe maybe not.

i think rex is right,i just checked my 1 1/2hp fw i can't find a casting .i think they started putting the casting date on the s models all my 1 3/4hp have a casting on the side of the hopper by the magneto.perhaps glenn can add some insight to this.

Hercules casting dates didn't start appearing until late 1924 when the S models came into being. An FW would have been around mid 1923. Glenn
