Hi Randy,

I stumbled across this thread and have a few questions. Is this your mogul? If it is, do you still own it?
Just asking out of curiosity, as a good friend of mine has a beautiful original Mogul 10 hp Portable Serial Number 503!

Thanks,

Rick

Well... As long as were talking about Moguls... This is 6 Hp serial number NZ 514... The NZ means it was a Portable but the original cart has been lost at some time... This must be the 14 th 6 HP... Built in 1914... So this is the replacement cart that I picked up a couple years ago..

Hi Rick!
NO, unfortunately, the Mogul does/did NOT belong to me...I can only WISH!!! It belonged to a good friend of mine, Dan Kiekhaffer & his brother. (Dan is the one, with the red cap) Dan passed away, a few years ago, but his brother still has it. It was used on the family farm, for many years...whether the family bought it new or not, I don't recall. Dan had planned to restore it, but never got to it. All of Dan's engines have stayed in the family, with NO intentions of ever selling any of them.
