Default IHC M 6hp Truck

I want to thank everyone that helped me with pictures and information to help me build a truck for the ihc 3hp m.

Now, could anyone help me with the channel size and length for a 6 hp M? i'll never be able to reproduce all the parts for the "horse special truck" but would at least have the channel the correct dimentions. also, why is it that the 6 hp M's were mounted on the trucks "backwards"?

Thanks Fellows

Well.... I geuss most all engines are "backwards" when they came as a team portable. Probably so they could get at the working parts of the engine without falling over the long Horse Pole. Probably the only notable exception being the saw rigs. I need the same dimensions but I have most of the proper parts to complete my 6 HP M truck. Some time ago 6M John posted a parts list for the 6 HP M cart but it did not include the channel dimensions.
