Default Alamo

Just dragged home a 7 HP Alamo with a new and different brand name. C. S. Mersick & Co., New Haven, Conn. Anyone out there have an engine with this name? This one is rusty, but complete and running. Al Wait

HI Al
C S Mersick was a big supplier of engines in the New England area I have some of there orignal books and they were the sole agent for the Foos Gas Engines which is my favorite. Most of my Foos engines have there tags they were located on State St in New Haven they moved to North Haven in the 70s and went out of business. The old building was torn down around that time. They sold everything from engines to pumps steel and tools they were the biggest in the area. Could you send me a photo of your engine and name plate ?Thanks Todd
