Thumbs up Re: stuck piston

Try putting a few ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil on them from the top side .. If possible.. move the head from side to side to get good coverage... wait a few days and give it a try.

If that doesn't work... attack with the same MMO from the bottom side of the cylinder... heard this works too.

MMO saved me from a similar fate. I'm a beleiver.

Good luck...

Dave

Talking Re: stuck piston

Use coca-cola, it has a pH of like 3.3, very acidic. We used coca-cola out right out of the vending machine in a shop class to get stuck pistons out of a chev 350. Thanks!

Ok fellows. after you have tried every thing, go to the drug store and invest in OIL of Wintergreen. soak the cyl. in that and play with it for movement after a soak period and if any thing will break them loose that should do it.. works for me. Paul

Only Product on the market specifically formulated to un-seize pistons is called Engine Release.
Comes with good instructions and interesting tips on how to get your engine running.

It's guaranteed too

marvel oil as mentioned, for a couple of days, if the heads off ,slow and evenly heat the top the piston to about 200 degrees then let it cool , do this 2 or 3 times you'll be surprised, i wouldn't try to turn it until youv did this you might scratch a good cylinder
