Default Gas prices

Gas here (S.E. Mi.) hit 2.29 at the cheapest station with everyone else at 2.39-2.47. for regular. Word has it from the local station it is going up another .10 tomorrow. I guess if I have any money left to go to any shows Im going to have to decide to put gas in the truck or gas in the engines? Or stay home and run them!BobRR

That's a pretty price to me, here in Holland I have to pay $6.25 a gallon and for diesel $4.31 a gallon

Allen I like your idea but how much will it cost if ya figure in the price of fuel if you raise those crops using a tractor? I hope we dont have to go back to hay burners! Their no fun. But inclose a pile of manure=methane? Maybe we can beet this? BobRR

in sunny Ca. gas is around 2.65 a gallon...I think "biodiesel" is the way to go...45 cents a gallon. Also wood alchol, easy enough to produce and cleaner than gas.

2.70 at our local gas station It cost more to get the gas for my mower than I make per yard I mow. If this continues I'll have to up the price for each yard. How bout we all go back to horse and buggy? would be a lot cheaper. Then we could use the gas to run our toy's instead. If this weather cooperates I can run some of my toy's but no it has to be sunny one day and raining the next why? I don't know. I hope it stops soon I've got pumpkins and other plants to get in the ground before they die

Just got back from a 24hr marathon drive to winnepeg MB and back to get another tractor, bought a 90 gallon Auxilary tank for the pick up with a 12Volt pump filled in Faribault Saturday night for 2.17 prices on the way up ranged up to 2.32 refilled at the border for 2.27 on the canada side was .94 down to .76 in some small towns at 2:00 AM in the morning I hope I wasn't seeing things and I believe that is for a liter, roads are real bad lots washed outs and really muddy had to wash everying down just in case for the border guards. that was no bargin 10.00 canadian didn't go far even with the exchange kicker, really weird names for coins, I think the gal at the counter wondered about me, when she asked if the machine took toulies and some other name, i just said coins??????? I just dumped everthing in and worked my butt of to get the mud off not something I enjoy with a stiff north wind. took about 35 gallons from Dufus to grand forks and went way down hill from there, easy going back south on 29 and to escape the scales down 75 from there the wind was from the south kinda and there was not enough engine in the truck with the moose I had on back, trailer is a 36ft PJ goose neck.1 1/2 sleep in 24hr period not bad for the crazy oh well back to work tomorrow to see what they screwed up. no cell phones at time means trouble know days lost coverage on three phones I carry a little north of Grand Forks, Dark territory they might say up north

Gas prices here in central Texas about 2.15 . My thoughts are we havent seen the worst yet! What is this going to do to our econemy? We are dependt on oil. We are going to see some kind of inflation I think! Sure we can do alturnative fuels, but its going to take time. Fixed income people? Too bad . D. Smith
