Default Need help identifing this Sumter Magneto

I have this Sumter Magneto that I can't find anything about. It is a Sumter Type JDC.I know Fairbanks used them but,I don't believe it's for a Fairbanks engine. The Cog has 9 teeth.Gear to Gear Drive ? Chain Drive ? It's early and has nice graphis on both sides of the magnets on tin. It's one of the neatest mags I've seen. The base is cast and has 2 holes on the bottom.Any Ideas what engine may have used this ???

New Holland used these mags. All the ones I've seen just have New Holland on the brass band and no Sumter name. Fuller & Johnson also used these. My 1918 7hp K has one and it has the Sumter band.

Cheers! NICK
