Photo Air Compressor

Can anyone identify this old air compressor ?? Was given to me. It is powered by an 5s B & S. It appears to be on a home made base. Everything turns over but nothing has compression.

yeah...I just cut up a compressor like it...it was burried for 50 years...only thing that was worth saving was the piston... it was a refrigerant compessor...I have another unit like that one you have...it had a 1/2 hp electric motor...home built unit-fire extingusher air tank. my guess was it was a popular mechanics project...if I could figure out how to post a picture I would???!!!???

any one care to explane?
