Default My newest find

I think its a 12hp may be 15hp? I'm gonna be bringin' this baby home soon! And I'll have to get that little pump jack too! Its stuck but both pistons are almost completely to the back of the cylinder. There STILL out there guys, ya just have to find them.

Here is one of the pump jacks. And the "power". Which has always sounded wrond to me because the real power it at the other end on the building.

I like that power, push-pull type? Dont see many of those in my part of the woods.

what kind engine is it? and the piston(s)? are on the outside?
wered ya find it? in an old barn or somethin?

Its a Reid engine. The cylinder on the outside is the charging cyl. It pushes the air fuel mixture into the combustion cylinder. So only the "inside" piston fires. Its in an oilfield near Bartlesville OKla. On one of Frank Phillips original leases. So its a nice piece of OKlahoma history. Dont know who Frank Phillips is? Do a GOOGLE search I think you'll like it!
