Default Collis, Peirson, Bean Spray...

I was looking through the archives and found several threads on Collis engines. All of these threads referred to a Collis model that had the radiator made inside the flywheel with both rotating together. I did not realize they were sold as Collis engines, I thought those were Piersons only, and that the Collis was slightly different even though they were designed by the same guy...

I have a Collis engine that is a little different. It is a very square looking engine as opposed to the cylindrical, almost marine appearance of the others. It has a round radiator that mounts to the block with the flywheel fitting over it fairly snugly. However, the radiator does not spin with the flywheel... Is anyone familiar with this engine? I believe it powered a calliope, and it does mention something like amusement park equipment on the tag. It's in storage, and it's been forever since I read the tag. I don't remember a model #, but I think it was 5hp. Has the same mag that was used on the early wisconsins - mag is a model B or maybe AB? Again, all from memory!

Does anyone have pics of the tag off the Collis with the rotating radiator? I'd like to compare them to mine. I'd actually like to find a whole engine to display them together...

I found a thumbnail of my engine, sorry it's so small but it's the only pic I can find right now.

So, nobody has any Collis info? Seemed like there were a lot of posts about these engines last year...

Thanks,
Jason
