Default Large Fairbanks Morse N.

Here's a picture I aquired at a yard sale a couple years ago. Looks like it could be the 80 HP Fairbanks Morse N. The wooden seat at base of engine gives a clue to the size of this monster.

Notice the air intake pipe that is used to start the engine, it and others have been cut off by a blow torch. Unfortunately this photo is probably the only evidence this engine ever existed. I appolgize for the downer.

I was wondering if I could use this pic for a t-shirt and/or poster? there is another guy on another web site that is looking for a subject that is interesting. I think this pic more than fits the bill.

I have a guess that this engine is probably at the bottom of the pacific ocean or somewhere over in Europe, thanks to World War 2
