Question Worthington Ingeco

I have a Worthington Ingeco hit&miss that is rated 1 3/4 hp. What speed would that be rated at? Also I would like to know what color it should be and what year it might have been made? The serial number is 26326 and it has a wizard mag.
Thanks Jeff

Default Re: Worthington Ingeco

Most of the 1-1/2 - 1-3/4 hp engines were run at 500 or 550 rpms to reach their rated hp. I believe. I have an earlier Worthington that has traces of dark green paint with a silver head and mixer. I would say it is close to Hercules "Forest Green", but someone may have a closer match. --Roland
