Hello,
This is somewhat of an off topic posting but not completely since what I have is railroad and electrical ephemera related. I have a box filled with well over 1500 papers from the late 1800's and have been posting them on my page as I find the time. This box contains all types of papers ranging from the electrification of a town to railroad and so on. I rescued this box from a dumpster/trash heap, which had at least 400 other boxes. The reason I chose the box was because it was made of metal, whereas the others were your standard cardboard. Apparently the person who had placed the papers in the box was a train engineer as well as other things. I have found at least 8 employee timetables, as well as schedules, excursion letters and many more papers all related to railroads. If you find this type of information useful and would like to see some of the papers link to my home page.... Thanks...Mark LINK TO http://home.att.net/~mforder |
