Coil and Battery Question
I'm using a 6v 12Ah gell cell battery to run my 1 1/2 hp F & J engine. This is working very well for me.
I also have a 6v 1amp charger that I use to charge this battery. My question is what is the best way to tell the condition of this battery ie: fully charged, fully discharged, or somewhere in the middle? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Use a voltmeter to check the voltage under load. Fully charged you should have 6.6 to 6.8 volts.
Checking the battery with the charger on will give false readings.
