Default Fun with Fairbanks!!

Even us engine folks in eastern Orygon are known to have some fun from time to time. This is my 3 H.P. Fairbanks Z with the radiator over the flywheel. Dont see that many of these around here.

The engine was one time part of a gen set. There is a small hole on top of the hopper that the radiator is bolted to and escaping steam flows out. Then it is cooled in the radiator on top on and then run back into the hooper. There is a fan bolted to the inside of the flywheel to aid in cooling.
