I imagine that you are hearing rumors about the estate of Forest Pence. I not not heard anything that has been sit in stone..mostly speculation....he had several engines....20 - 30 - 40 hp Avery, return flue Minn, 65 Case, and others...those are just the ones that I had heard about. Does anyone on this board know what exactly what engines that Forrest had in his collection ?

I cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of my list; but here is what I have listed on my Surviving World Steam Vehicle CD-ROM:
  1. Peerless Traction Engine #9409
  2. Harrison "Jumbo" traction engine #1066
  3. Minneapolis Co. return flue traction engine #855/1893
  4. Minneapolis Co. 30HP return flue traction engine #6325/1910
  5. Minneapolis Co. 16HP traction engine #8182/1919
  6. Wood Bros. traction engine #444

As always, pictures and details of what went where are greatly appreciated.
