I've never been there myself Sky, but I do like a good fish sandwich. Of course I would probably enjoy hot buttered tar-paper if I was eating it at Portland! Kevin

The Portland Swap & Sell Meet Was Awsome. We Met & Talked To Alot Of Great People From All Over. I Was Able To Meet & Talk To People In Person That I Have Been Talking To Over The Internet. All The People That Stopped By To See Us , Really Liked Our Business Cards We Are Making. The Fish Sandwich Was Like A White Castle, You Can't Eat Just One ( They Were Great & Well Worth The Wait In Line) . See Ya At The Shows, Brady

Brady:

I've probably been to my last fall Portland show but you gotta get a load of them brats! There's a booth over by the stadium (Lion's Club, I think) that sells 'em. They are made by one of the guys in the club and are the best!

Make sure you get yours (again, you can't eat just one!) with kraut, brown mustard and put on a bit of horse radish (the ground root, NOT the wimpy creamed sissy horse radish sauce). MMMMMMmmmmmm! That's Good eatin'! Puts sweat on your upper lip, too!

Take care - Elden

I haven't been to Portland since th early 80's but it sounds like I need to go back just for a couple sandwiches.

Dan, you probably wouldn't recognize the place if you haven't been there since the early 80's. The show has grown exponentially in the last 20 years. The area we camped in 20 years ago when dad was showing engines is now going to be filled with oilfield engines this year. I can vouch for the good food although you wouldn't be able to tell by my figure!
