Default McCormick-Deering M 3hp Cart

Hello. Just purchased me a nice reproduction cart for my 3Hp McCormick-Deering Model M. My question to you all is what color should the wheels be painted.

I have a 3hp M on origional skids which are drilled for optional cart hardware. Did you buy your cart from a dealer, perhaps one of Harry's sponsors? Is it an an accurate reproduction? I can tell you my skids are same shade of green as the engine.

Depends when it was built-I own an early 1919 International understrike 3 HP M, with its original hardware, and The skid and hardware is painted black, wthh white lettering on the sides. The wheels are black as well.

Stevie when you have a repro cart like this one and you don't want to paint the wood, I would say; black wheels and hardware.

Can someone suggest a source for 3hp M cart hardware?

I should have mentioned, My M is an overstrike with fairbanks mag. That engine is dark green (it dark now, cannot say 80 yrs ago) and the skid is the same shade of green.
