Question economy ignition

just picked up a 21/2hp economy minus the ignition. am i correct in thinking this takes a webster type mag/ignitor? thanks jim s.

I assume it is a 2 1/2 HP model E. It would have most likely had the Webster 303K26 bracket and a K magneto. However, the early ones had the igniter fired by battery and coil or a few had the Elkhart magneto to fire the igniter.
If the flywheel counter balance weights are cast into the rims, it is an early one; other wise, the counterbalance is the recessed area in the rim.

yes it is an E and the counter weights are cast into flywheels. the serial # says it is a 1915.so i guess i will find a ignitor and go with the battery and coil setup. thanks for the information!
