Talking IHC-2HP PUMPER is up and "WORKING"

All it took is 3 days off work with out a "BREAK", and I got it all to together and pumping water. Not done yet by a long shot, but it's functional for now . Making the post braces was sure a lot of fun and drilling those holes ) and keeping everything lined up. Just glad it's operational.

Great looking pump unit Paul, there aren't many to see around. You could start a little IHC museum one of these days I guess

THANKS FOLKS . Bob: The pump is a Mast & Foos I picked up a few years ago. I found a 1 1/4 pump cylinder that fit inside (hidden of course) that I rebuilt with a check valve in the bottom. Had a few (5) of the grandchildren (3-8) for a sleep over last night and they just ignored it on the patio. That is untill I showed them how to pump their own water then all HECK broke out as they took turns to pumping water. It took the 8 year old about 30 seconds after she asked where the water came from to figure it out. She looked underneath and saw the closed loop system . With grandchildren, we had lots of things to keep them busy and soon the bucket was full of bubbles. I guess it's just things kids do isn't it. Non-stop laughter. Soon after wards the 8 year old figgured out what the water out of the pump sounded like, and then it started all over again. Nothing but FUN, FUn, Fun, fun. Ended the day with a few night sky activites and by 8:00am it all started over again. Can't wait till about 1:00pm for some quiet time . Even had time to put the flag up, with some help of course. Paul is just having all sorts of fun this holiday, even in NJ while on a work "BREAK".

Amazing what some guys can get done on break and still get the goods at flea markets during the week ! Probably finished the other side of his engine shed by now, too.

I gotta go take my Geritol. LOL

Bob: I found one just by chance. It came along with a 3" Red Jacket I purchased. I had to redo the bottom check valve and get new leathers for it. Works real good with the pump eccentric set on 7". Museum tickets go on sale April 1st... 200
