Default Sandwich, IL show?

Can anyone give me any information on the show at Sandwich, IL later this month? I plan to go, but it 10 hrs from where I live and I'd like to hear from someone who has been there before.

Jimmy

I have been attending the Sandwich Show for the past 10 years (Started going because of the toy show)...Now I do the web page for the club...I have pictures from the past few years on my web page. I hope that it would give you an idea of what can show up. This year, we are featuring Ford Tractors and Jacob Haish Engines (including ones built by Haish, but sold by others).

If I can answer any questions, Ask away.

Is there on-site camping available? RV sites?

They do have camping available. I was told that the fair board charges $10 per electrical hookup. I will try to verify that it is an electrical hook and not a camping fee that the fair board charges. There are no other hookups that I know of.

Steve I think it is $15 per night camping fee. Yes it is a fair board fee not a club fee. I will go over to the fair office and ask if the campers have to pay the fee if they do not use electric. also just a reminder the Feature Engine is Jacob Haish & Haish Built Engines (Chanticleer, early Rock Island, Appleton, Great Western) and the Festure tractor is Ford & Related Companies. The camping fees for the Sandwich Show are $15. per night. If you do not use elc.camping is free, but the fair will make checks at any time and if you are plugged in you will have to pay. There is limited water hook ups, no sewer. The shower house will be open it is just west of the far west restroom. camping is at the far east side of the show grounds. camping is on Fri. and sat. night only.
