1940's toro 76" professional mower engine
I have this mower with the Model MH-4 engine. Who really made this engine? I am looking for an oversize piston and rings. Std. is 2.75" Thanks. Mike

Toro made their own engines up to the 1950's, I think. There was an article in Gas Engine Magazine a few months ago about them.

According to the Gas Engine Magazine article, the model MH was made from 1939-1955. The engine was rated at four horsepower. This was in the October 2004 issue.
