Question Stickney Owners--HELP

Would some one give me the starting drill for 7hp Stickney? It runs fine but having a little trouble starting it. Thanks.

Bruce, Be sure to have the spark retard lever in the back position. Then be sure to have the engine well primed. When the gas starts to leak out of the bottom of the mixer mine is ready to start. I generally have the gas knob about one third to one half open. Usually starts on the second trip of the igniter. Then I push the spark lever forward to the run position. ChuckO
