Thumbs up It's a "MODEL" IHC Tom Thumb

The call came at 2:30 Monday afternoon. Come and get it . I wasn't quite ready , but... I worked 3rd. shift Tuesday, jumped in the truck at 07:00am and went to Binghamton, NY and was back home at 04:00pm after a 461 mile round trip. It's a long story starting back in late 1999, but it's in my back yard now . It's a beauty .

I don't even like the little air-cooled engines other than the Aermotors but that is cute as a button. Very nice!

Maybe after you had a chance to sleep (or work a few shifts) you could share the long story with us.

Was it made from castings, and if so, who made them? Thanks
Andrew

Andrew: It's a model made by Don Weinbrenner at Midwest Model Engineering in Lehigh, Kansas. The modeling is a side line to his regular business, and he has casting kits currently avaialble. From time to time, and as time permits, he makes machinists kits and finished ones like I have. They are a NICE model. Don can be reached at 620-483-4611. If you get the answering machine, leave a message and he will get back to you. Tell him I sent you. Paul

Mark: I picked up the model from a guy up near Watertown (in your back yard). This fellow went to Lehigh, KS last week to pick up his model and brought one extra back for me. He said he would meet me about 1/2 way (Binghamton, NY, just off 81) between my place and his. You probably will see Alden with his model at the local shows in your area. He might sell his . I might bring mine to Canandaigua, but mine is not for sale .
