Photo S.F. Hercules

This is an engine you don't often see at a rally, a San Fransisco Hercules.

Default San Francisco Hercules

Here's another San Francisco Hercules built in 1893 the oldest running Palmer and Rey Engine known. engine has Hoyt patent governing sytem with Ratchet ignitor. 5 1/2 feet tall and rated at 2 HP. Starts very easy and runs like a swiss watch. I will try to do my part and send in a picture a noth for the photo gallery from the Merry collection. I hope more collectors do the same and bring those unusual engines to us with a photo.
